This is so true for me. I love stories. I always have. Are there many better phrases than, "Once upon a time"? I listen to audiobooks as I fall asleep every night, and when I'm sick like I was this week, there's so much Netflix binge watching. I'm all caught up on How to Get Away With Murder, though I vowed not to watch it again . . . but I love Viola Davis and her snotty tears (I was reminded of this when I watched Fences).
Even when a story is crazy, and I have to step away from it for a while, I peek around the corner, and I'm like, "Let me quit playing. I want to see what's good with Annalise." Now I'm peeking back at The Good Wife. I miss Kalinda.
When I create the characters in my stories, I want my readers to fall in love with my characters so that even when their behavior drives you absolutely crazy, you'll still want to know what's good with Shiloh and Subria.
